It is the same, but listed on two different exchanges! The confusion is real when it comes to ETF ticker names in Europe…
QDVI is listed on Xetra (Germany), while IUVD is in London. They represent the same index of stocks.
I decided to list the German ones, which I’m trading myself. But it turns out I have more subscribers based in UK than in any other European country, so I might have to change again 😄
The safe approach is to go by the ISIN code, which should be the same regardless of ticker name.
Hi, thank you for your work. When do you execute these signals? On the close of the day? Also, if there was a signal to close these positions, will you publish it as well?
You’re welcome! I execute the trades on the first trading day of the month, the sooner the better. I don’t work with signals for closing a position, but in rare cases the monthly allocation will be cash. I will of course publish these as well.
QDVI by the looks of it is same as aprils IUVD, correct?

Cheers, yes those pesky ETFs can get confusing

Thank you for your reply. I was also wondering what was the worst drawdown for your strategy and how many months did it last to reach new highs. 🙏
The max drawdown was 15,23% in 2020. This is based on monthly closing prices only, so it was most likely higher at some point intra-month.
The max recovery time was 20 months in 2007-2009.
Thank you. 👍
