Welcome to the monthly trading signal from The MarketFighter Strategy. Our two ETF allocations for November are now ready.
This is the rules-based strategy I’ve been trading since March 2021. By simply holding two ETFs for at least one month at a time, it has outperformed the S&P 500 in every calendar year since I started.
The ETFs are picked by an evidence-based system using a probability-driven model. 250+ paid subscribers have already signed up to follow along, and the community keeps growing.

New to The MarketFighter Strategy?
I write about a simple approach to beat the stock market with only 15 minutes of monthly work that anyone can copy. Check out these links:
October in brief
The S&P 500 (USD) registered a small loss of less than 1%, while the MSCI World Index (EUR) had a gain of similar size. An increase in the USD vs. EUR played a part in these returns.
The month started out with a change to our sector allocation. After several months holding the Energy Sector, the system switched to the Information Technology Sector, while our factor allocation stayed in the US Value Factor.
The sector swap followed the same rules that caused our historical outperformance over many years. This month, however, it didn’t pay off, as the Energy Sector kept rising, while technology sold off.
Due to the tech sell-off on Friday (the last trading day of the month), the strategy registered a loss of more than 3%. This was its worst performance in 19 months. It’s never fun to watch a recent swap underperform, and a slight feeling of regret is almost unavoidable in this situation.
But what’s important here is to stay focused on the process, not the outcome in the short term. The outcome can only be judged through a long-term lens.
Over the past 26 years of backtested and live results, there have been plenty of similar months, so there is nothing uncommon about this. The strategy is still up around 28% year-to-date, outperforming the market by around 13%, both measured in EUR.
As usual, the fully updated performance report with October data and year-to-date figures will be published within a few days after the trading signal.
With two months left of 2026, the system is still on track to beat the S&P 500 for the 10th consecutive year, with the last five and a half of them live trading with my own money on the table.
