Good article. One remark is necessary, eu based investors may not buy most of us registered etf (documentary issue). Only sell them or get assigned through option strategies (such as selling puts). Equivalent ucits (eu registered and approved) are less liquid

Got it, thanks for pointing this out.

Great point to make around chasing yield - I made a similar argument today: https://danlanetalksmoney.substack.com/p/beyond-3-12-multi-decade-income-heroes

Great article,I just would add to this smart strategy to keep a part of the dividends on cask or short terms bonds to use when market crash, just look what happen in March 2025 on your graphs!

Thank you for the suggestion, Albert.

I don't hold ETFs, but this is a great article. Dividends businesses are often ignored, but they can be a real derisked investment

I used to think that way but then I was amazed at how much those dividend ETFs have appreciated over the past two years. It's comparable to the S&P 500.

Very nicely organized and clearly understandable article. Thanks, I enjoyed reading. I also love ETFs but only hold one, these ETF descriptions you provided will be really helpful for me or any beginner on investing journey.
